The purpose of Sea Hydro system is ship's stability and buoyancy performances. It makes it possible to resolve all practical tasks of assessments of intact and damaged vessel.
All data for calculations come from Sea Solution. In addition ship's hull geometry data may be prepared as simple text file. Results of the calculations are outputted as texts and tables both in DOS text file and Microsoft Word document for user's choice.
All calculations may be fulfilled in purpose of setting a vessel on wave with required parameters.
Sea Hydro is able to produce following curves and diagrams:
- geometrical characteristic curves;
- hydrostatic curves;
- Bonjeane's curves;
- Firsov diagram;
- curve of limiting lengths of compartments;
- cross curves of stability (pantocurrens);
- universal stability diagram;
- special stability diagrams;
- graphs of shifted forces and bending moments of hull on calm water and assumed settled on wave.
Sea Hydro also makes possible to compute very helpful characteristics such as icing caused amendments to inertial performances of the vessel.
The strong feature of Sea Hydro is a possibility to perform comprehensive, full-scale analysis of buoyancy and stability of intact and damaged vessel in extents sufficient for developing documentation presented in Registers. In particular the following:
- vessel settings provided with calculations of initial stability, elevations of openings and limit line over water plane as well as buoyancy reserve;
- Reed's diagrams provided with flooding angle and angle of limiting line submersion;
- diagram of longitudinal stability;
- assessment of Reed's diagram quality coefficients such as angles of decay and maximum, areas beneath diagram's curve, maximal value;
- calculation of weather criterion;
- calculation of special criteria.
Last two calculations are made in accordance with Russian Shipping Register and Russian River Register. Sea Hydro may be supplemented with calculations of stability criteria in accordance with requirements of Rules of others societies.
Sea Hydro is approved by Russian Shipping Register and Russian River Register.
